I love collecting stickers <3 I started collecting stickers again after studying in Japan a few years ago. Stickers are so popular in Japan, every Japanese girl had their own little scrapbook decorated with all sorts of cute stickers. One of the most popular hobby among the Japanese culture were taking “purikura” which refers to a photo sticker booth. We will then apply them to our sticker books and decorated with when our favorite stickers:] I remember my scrapbook was a Hello Kitty bound notebook and I had tons of Hello Kitty and Charmmy Kitty Stickers.

A while back, I came across an entire wall of Hello Kitty stickers including Hello Kitty keyboard sticker at a local Sanrio store and I immediately fell in love with it. I always wanted a Hello Kitty keyboard, but since I don’t have a desktop. I decided to buy these Hello Kitty keyboard stickers, there were so many different designs. Hello Kitty Floppy Dolphin Fan

I love heading to Rite Aid for ice cream:P there aren’t many drug stores that have a built-in ice cream counter and nothing can beat Thrifty ice cream, the scoops are huge and inexpensive! Most of the time, I spend no more than 5 minutes there, just a scoop of ice cream and I’m out. Today was different, James needed to get some new mechanic lead pencils and Rite Aid was our closest resort. Guess what I found just when we were about to check out?

I was so facinated by the fan as if I were a little girl. I even stood there for a good 5 minutes pressing the button on the side and the dolphin fan spins with Hello Kitty sitting on top! It even comes with a candy bracelet! How cool is that?

I really like Hello Kitty x Dolphin because it’s James and my favorite character in one <3

Hello Kitty Valentine

I hope everyone had a happy Hello Kitty Valentine’s Day:] Did you receive any Hello Kitty Valentine’s Day card? How about Hello Kitty shaped chocolates or flowers? James and I celebrated our second Valentine, previously we promised each other we will only make hand-made presents for Christmas and buy each other gifts for Valentine’s Day. But procrastination has led us into making each other Valentine’s Day present instead, since we didn’t exchange presents this past Christmas <3

James and I exchanged our first hand-made presents in 2008, He made me the best hand-made Hello Kitty sweater I have ever seen <3 But because I can’t wear the sweater every day, I always mentioned that it awesome to have Hello Kitty on a backpack. Then, I can carry it around every where. My dream came true this year!

We decided to exchange backpacks, I made James a dolphin backpack because he loves marine animals with his favorite Sanrio character, Badtz Maru O:]

The backpack was stuff with Hello Kitty goodies: Hello Kitty phone charm in Korean Hanbok, Hello Kitty slippers, 2 x Hello Kitty plush, Hello Kitty candies and Hello Kitty arts and craft.

James love hats! So I decided to make a hat for the boy dolphin.

For the girl dolphin, she’s wearing a bow because I heart Hello Kitty and the bow represents Hello Kitty.

I stuffed James’s backpack with the most random items: Mickey Mouse plush, sea otter plush [They're hugging each other, how cute!], Aquarium of the Pacific patches, Badtz Maru with paper clips and CHOCOLATE <3

I think we can be models now..haha, okay maybe not. Can you see the balloon in the background? I found it for James, when I saw it I knew it would be perfect! Our favorite characters in one balloon, Hello Kitty riding on dolphin <3

TARGET SIGHTSEEING CONTINUES:

My friend from Singapore also wanted this Hello Kitty Wrap for iPhone [Suggested retail price $9.99], which apparently is a discontinued item. Lucky me I found one after going to 3 Target Stores. I ended up at a Target store that was suppose to have 3 in stock, but they only found 1 in the stock room :[ Booo! Good news is that you can order it online again, but it still wouldn’t be available for another 2-4 weeks.

Back in February 2009, Sanrio signed Jakks Pacific to produce a line of Hello Kitty toys for fall 2009. This specific Hello Kitty Collection debut in Target national wide this fall, featuring figurines, play sets, plush toys and much more. After making multiple trips to Target, I finally got my hands on more than half of the collection.

Hello Kitty Plush: Apple, Kimono, Cherry

One day after work, James decided to surprise me and got me this Hello Kitty Quick Stepper. They come in sets of two, and each set plays two songs! You can also punch in codes for 4 extra songs:]

I was so fascinated by the music and the dance steps. When we were at Target today, I promise him we wouldn’t wander into the Hello Kitty section because time was so limited. I was following him around the store and he lead me to the Hello Kitty toys:

Red Tag ALERT! They were on sale for 50% off. It was definitely a must, so we picked up the other two sets:]
