I must admit I was also a Beanie Babies fan in grade school. McDonald’s Teenie Beanies Babies were the most in demand when it was first released in 1997. As a child, I wanted to collect them all because everyone had them. In fact I did collect most of them that were introduce in the first few years, but stopped due to the decrease in popularity.

After finding out that there were Hello Kitty TY Beanie Babies, I started to gain an interest in collecting Beanie Babies again. As for my goal is to collect all the Hello Kitty Beanie Babies <3

Hello Kitty Easter

I love Target! I’m there at least once a week:] Guess what I found today? Yes, Hello Kitty Easter items. This year Easter falls on April 4th. Let’s celebrate Easter this year in a whole new fashion, Hello Kitty Easter with egg decorations, baskets, games more. Below are some of the items I came across today, there are more but this Target only had limited items.

Hello Kitty assorted Easter plush. I think there are 4 different kinds, so more Hello Kitty plushes to collect:]

Hello Kitty Easter decorating kit! I love coloring eggs for Easter and decorating them, especially with Hello Kitty arts and crafts. It even comes with a mini Hello Kitty Easter themed poster.

After all the egg coloring and decorations, we can put them in this lovely Hello Kitty Easter plush basket:D And don’t forget the Hello Kitty plastic eggs and Hello Kitty Easter grass, this Target didn’t have any so I wasn’t able to take any pictures to show you Hello Kitty fans out there. I’ll post pictures soon!

Hello Kitty Easter fun and games;] If you remember, during Christmas they had a very similar one called Hello Kitty Holiday fun and games. The only difference is the puzzle. I love puzzles s0 I’m really tempted to get this for the puzzle. Hopefully I can find the Hello Kitty Easter puzzle by itself.

I remembered as a kid, my grandmother bought me a few Easter gift baskets similar to this one. This one is even better because it’s Hello Kitty themed, what other baskets can beat that? It comes with a Hello Kitty playground ball, 2 x Hello Kitty paddle balls, chalk and assorted Candy! Love love candies <3

For some reason, I love collecting greeting cards as well. Every holiday, Hello Kitty always has her own greeting card, which makes it super awesome!

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THIS HELLO KITTY EASTER? I know I will be definitely decorating eggs and eating them afterwards. I love the egg whites for some reason, especially if they are tea flavored [tea egg].

Hello Kitty at Takashima-Ya

I used to work in San Gabriel a couple years ago and I would always admired Takashima from the outside. The store was always so bright when I drove by and you can see tons of Hello Kitty products through the glass window.

I was so impressed by all the Hello Kitty products they carry. For those who never heard of this store, they specialize in imported Japanese products, mainly focusing on cosmetics, beauty supplies and Hello Kitty. In fact their entire second floor is dedicated to Hello Kitty :]

Takashima carries imported Hello Kitty straight from Japan, I haven’t found any flaws to the store yet, so I am assuming with my best abilities that everything is legit. They carry a wide range of rare Hello Kitty appliances from Hello Kitty digital cameras to Hello Kitty rice cooker.

Upon entering the store, you’ll be greeted with these Hello Kitty gem stickers for your phone, Hello Kitty calendars, mirrors and much more.

The bottom floor of the store mainly consist of cosmetics and beauty supplies so I headed upstairs, here are a few things I wamt to share :]

This is not your regular calculator, it’s actually 4x the size of a pocket calculator :D

Valentine’s Day is coming up <3 I would definitely recommend this Hello Kitty heart pillow for someone you like :] Perhaps a girl for those readers that are guys!

Matching Hello Kitty soap dispensers, but you can probably put lotion or something else in there.

Takashima definitely has a wide range of Hello Kitty plushes and products, some of which I’ve never seen before. Since their items are mostly imported from Japan, most items may cost more than an average Hello Kitty item at the Sanrio store. Personally I think Takashima is more like a Hello Kitty sightseeing place, but hey maybe you will find something that is worth the price.

While I made my way back downstairs, I came across rows and rows of Hello Kitty boxes. The boxes look so cute I had to pick one out and see what it was.

When I opened the box, I saw the cutest Hello Kitty ever, a popped up Hello Kitty! Inside there was two bars of Hello Kitty body soap and a hand soap. This gift set definitely made my day. But sadly it was not for sale, I insisted on buying the gift set and tried to convince the employees to sell it:]

Hello Kitty becomes eco-friendly, go green and recycle! This month Sanrio released a new Hello Kitty collection, “Love Our Planet.” If you purchase and use a Hello Kitty reusable bag, you will receive one additional bonus card stamp <3 This collection consist of Hello Kitty products made with recycled paper and soy ink :] I am so flattered by this new collection, since I hate using plastic bags and try to recycle as much as I can. One of the main reason is to help with James’s save the ocean project!
