After a long hour and half, I finally got out of a job interview at Santa Monica today:] I was heading towards the freeway and some how I just missed it [there were NO ADDITIONAL SIGNS!]. That’s one of the reasons why I hate Los Angeles. The freeways and the streets are just so complicated. Ever since my last GPS failed on me, I was trying to rely on my iPhone, but I guess that didn’t really work out today. I ended up in a very narrow street, so in order for me to make a U-turn, I had to drive inside this plaza. I then saw bright lights and with tons of Japanese signs inside…it was Nijiya Market!! I love this place <3 so I decided to relieve my headache and parked my car.
Nijiya Market always had a great selection of Hello Kitty snacks and Japanese imported food products when I was back home in San Francisco, this was what I saw…
Nijiya Market: Sawtella store in WestLA:
Hello Kitty Biscuits with Chocolate Cream and Hello Kitty Biscuit with Strawberry Cream
Hello Kitty Kawaii Cookies [Strawberry Flavored] and Hello Kitty Baby Cookies :]
Nijiya Market: Little Tokyo Store in LA
Hello Kitty Chocolate Covered Macadamias
Hello Kitty Chocolate Coated Pie
Hello Kitty Chocolate Marshmallow and Hello Kitty Strawberry Marshmallow with strawberry jelly inside..it’s really good, must try it!
Hello Kitty Milk Flavored Chewy Candy and Hello Kitty Fruit Milk Cough Drop
Hello Kitty Snacks I took home <3
I satisfied myself with tons of Hello Kitty snacks!

Wow..the snacks look awesome and drooling tho..slightly diff from Singapore’s HK snack..
What kind of yummy hello kitty snacks do you guys have in Singapore? The packaging is probably different.
Ours is mainly in tins this year..with heart shape, flower shape, musical box etc..quite nice tho…
Btw does your place have those Lucky dips monthly by Japan? we have it here in singapore and its kind of fun, we pay for sure win and mostly are household items, accessories etc…
I wish we had a bigger selection in Hello Kitty snacks out here in the USA, but sadly we don’t, unless it’s imported. I remember being in Taiwan and especially Japan, they would have really nice decorated tins or gift boxes. You are very lucky to be in Singapore, you guys have quite a few Hello Kitty McDonalds and 7-Eleven promotions!! Someday I shall come visit Singapore :D
